VisionaryInfinite wonders
beheld by the finite eye,
just for a moment.
Day Break
He rests on his oars.
The pale mysteries of light
about to drown him.
UnspokenHow pure, your being.
Misfortunes like drifting snow,
And still you are warm.

When grey packs of misery
hound me, I picture your smile.

My familiar,
silence. A shadow dancer,
the partner for me.

Why bother questioning?
He dances flawlessly.
For Dawn, Illumination,Doubt and confidence,
the play of dappled sunshine
on a forest floor.
Elevated
They share their own world,
perched above the restless crowds.
Their search is over.
Waterside
Completely absorbed.
The solitude they're sharing
might contain all of their lives.

Neither can believe
that a moment like this can
ever have occurred before.
FoundWe share sweet bondage,
enslaved each to the other,
tight bound by unalloyed joy.

Souls and flesh entwined,
years of empty solitude
disappear as we learn love.
FullNothing but the void
has space enough to contain
multiplicity.
Mythic
Who dares to enter?
what forgotten oracle
might be found within?
TouchingKiss his shaven head,
tenderly. Your lips will feel
his soft, fragile skull.

Bones too easily broken,
brittle as the shell of a snail.
DecliningHer years are ebbing,
her face exposed, a stony beach,
winter deserted.

Memories remain,
keeping secrets from themselves.
The past has faded.
SleeperHis eyes closed, his face
expressionless in repose,
he makes his escape.
DiffidenceHis eyes are downcast.
His umbrella shelters him
from gazes and rain.
Willing FleshFlesh the means, spirit the end,
yet still the unintended. While deep
embedded in the pulsing rhythms
of the body's routine life, it transcends
physicality, flourishing in realities
never imagined before. Spirit is the key
to unlock the heavy door, to make
the great discovery of joy.
ReplayI cannot forget
Unable to remember,
I censor my dreams.

Tears leaking, eyes red.
waylaid by phantoms of pain,
buried, yet aching again.

Felines, For Athina.Their bodies express a svelte determination.
It seems at times as though they share a single mind,
seeming as one to swarm, slither and slide down staircases.

Their sleek, dark coats surprise the unwary, disconcerted
by those amber lanterns. those shiny and unblinking eyes.

has deemed him among
the walking wounded.

With a little luck
he should survive.
He stumbles onward
aware of nothing.

As the battle's roar
fades behind him, his
spirit should revive.

I was linked here by a friend :icontrippy4you:. I live in S.America, my native language is Spanish and I didnīt know you. He told me you were a great poet...

I am so glad that I came to visit you... your writings touch my soul. So far I read and faved directly from the gallery and only now that I wanted to send you a comment I saw the pictures attached to each. I will have to review them all, to see if the picture I had in my head matches the one you selected.

Reading in English (literature, poems, stories) is not easy for me, because I usually have troubles understanding all the words. In your case and for whatever reason it might be, they are clear as daylight and they open their way to my heart in a beautiful way!

I will be delighted to read your whole gallery in the time to come... Your words are music for my soul...

My English is pretty good, but not perfect. I use it mainly
here and for commercial purposes, so my literary vocabulary
is not very broad. My grandfather, who was born in England,
used to talk and sing songs to me in English... I simply love
this language!

Reading you is a new experience to me. You use the words as
a musician would use notes to compose music. The phrases flow
so soft and natural, one entangles the next like fairy hairs!

Richard is awesome. He always makes me laugh, over and over
again... he is such a gentleman!! We get along very well :aww:!

Let me thank you, too, for taking the time to visit my gallery.
It was a nice surprise. I know how busy you must be!

:nod: Yes... thatīs what came to my mind ...

I agree also about Richard... he has that special perception
needed to shoot at the right moment. Too sad that most people
donīt use the full view. Specially on his works, that is a must!
