Aww, sad. The only question in such a small snippet, I suppose, is who is the sad one? The girl that used to sit in the boat? The boat itself? The rower for the season? Or even the feel in the winter air? Yes, they all make sense, and gray winter has that effect.

Pretty little poem though.
